2020 Pride Summit
With this year’s summit, Alexis will be reaching a global audience. She’s producing it all remotely. And she’s curated an amazing lineup of speakers and appearances: Lena Waithe, Billy Porter, Carson Kressley, Cyndi Lauper, Justin Tranter, Madame Gandhi, Jennifer Beals, Mary Lambert, Noah Cyrus, and many more.
2019 Pride Summit
Alexis programmed this inaugural event, a joint effort of The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard celebrating LGBTQ pride and visibility in entertainment with LGBTQ+-focused panels and conversations. For an entire day on August 8, 400 LGBTQ executives gathered at Los Angeles’ 1 Hotel West Hollywood to explore topics ranging from LGBTQ songwriting in pop music, emerging queer artists, eradicating homophobia, and hiring and retaining LGBTQ+ employees in the media industry. Among the queer icons who graced the stage: Big Freedia, Tegan & Sara, Trixie Mattel, Hannah Hart, Indya Moore, and Hayley Kiyoko. Billboard Pride was nominated for a GLAAD Award in “Outstanding Overall Magazine and Coverage.”
